Kufri: A tiny hill station in Shimla got name from the work "Kufri" meaning a lake in the local language. The highest point in the surrounding region Kufri has a Himalayan Wild Life Zoo which hosts rare Antelopes, Felines and Birds including Himalayan Monal, the state bird of Himachal Pradesh. During winter a meandering path through the potato plantations turns into a popular Ski track. Kufri is the only tourist place where you can roam around in a nature park on a Yak! Sipping hot chocolate during cold evenings, sitting in the midst of snow can bring out the love in you.
Shimla Town The Ridge : Located in the heart of Shimla, The Ridge road is a large open space which runs east to west alongside the Mall Road, and joins it at the Scandal point on the west side. On the east side, the Ridge road leads to Lakkar Bazaar, a wooden crafts market. The large water reservoir present at the Ridge acts as the main supply of Shimla town. Dotted with a church, library and many statues, the Ridge is a choice of many for a long walk.
The Mall : The Mall in Shimla is referred to as the 'heart of Shimla' is the Biggest Mall road of North India. The Mall extends from Barnes court in the eastern side to Vice Regal lodge in the western side. Movement of vehicles are prohibited in the Mall of Shimla. There are many attractions on the mall road like Gaity Theater, Kali Bari Temple, Christ Church, Scandal Point, General Post Office.

Hidimba Devi Temple : An ancient cave temple entirely dedicated to Hidimba Devi, is circumscribed by cedar forest. The deity image in this temple is that of a huge rock which was built in 1553.
Manali Gompa (Tibetan Monastery) : The Manali Gompa serves as an important gathering place for Buddists from Lahaul, Spiti, Kinnaur, Ladakh, Nepal, Tibbet. Built in the 1960s, the new monastery is famous for its wall paintings, chortens and a large statue of Lord Buddha.
Vashist Hot Water Springs and Temple : Just about 3 kms from Manali, spread across the Beas River is Vashist, a village with natural sulphur springs. Comprising of modern bathhouses, Turkish-style showers – travelers come here for medicinal benefit. There is also a pair of old stone temples, dedicated to the local patron saint Vashista.
Club House : The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day.
